Watch: (G)I-DLE Channels 2000s Movie Vibes In Surprisingly Dark MV For "Allergy"
(G)I-DLE has dropped the music video for their pre-release track “Allergy”!
On May 10 at midnight KST, (G)I-DLE released the music video for “Allergy,” one of the songs from their upcoming mini album “I feel.”
Although the video initially appears to be something straight out of a lighthearted 2000s romantic comedy, the story takes a darker turn as it shines an unflattering light on the ways social media can influence our lives. Despite only clocking in at 3 minutes, the cinematic music video takes viewers on an engrossing journey as it follows the (G)I-DLE members’ struggles with envy—particularly that of the fictional Jeon Soyeon, who is desperate to learn “how to become a queen.”
(G)I-DLE’s sixth mini album “I feel” will be released on May 15 at 6 p.m. KST.
