Red Velvet's Wendy Diagnosed With COVID-19
Red Velvet’s Wendy has tested positive for COVID-19.
On May 10, SM Entertainment announced through Red Velvet’s fan community, “Wendy felt unwell and underwent a rapid antigen test today (May 10).”
Following her positive COVID-19 test result, Wendy stopped all her scheduled activities, and she is in quarantine and receiving treatment at home. Accordingly, Wendy will not be able to participate in the SBS radio show “Wendy’s Young Street” which she is the DJ for.
The agency added, “We will do our best to focus on her recovery by considering the artist’s health and safety as our top priority.”
