BTS's New Song Tops Oricon's Daily Digital Singles Chart + Debuts In Top 20 Of Spotify's Global Chart

BTS’s new OST song is off to a strong start on music charts all over the world!

On March 14, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced that “THE PLANET,” BTS’s contribution to the soundtrack of the new animated series “BASTIONS,” had debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s daily digital singles chart in Japan.

“THE PLANET” also debuted at No. 19 on Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart after racking up 2,956,589 streams on the platform in just one day.

Meanwhile, “THE PLANET” previously swept the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Songs charts in numerous countries across the globe within just hours of its release on May 12.
