BTS's Jimin Becomes 1st K-Pop Soloist To Spend 7 Consecutive Weeks On Billboard's Artist 100

Once again, BTS’s Jimin has made history on the Billboard 200 and Artist 100!

Last month, Jimin became the first K-pop soloist ever to top the Hot 100 and Artist 100, as well as the first to enter the top 2 of Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.

To add to those historic achievements, Jimin has now become the first K-pop solo artist ever to spend six consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200. Ever since its No. 2 debut, Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” hasn’t dropped off the chart for a single week—and for the week ending on May 13, “FACE” remained on the chart at No. 157, marking its sixth consecutive week on the Billboard 200.

“FACE” is also only the second Korean solo album to spend six weeks on the Billboard 200 at all. (Jimin’s bandmate RM‘s solo album “Indigo” also charted for six weeks, but they were non-consecutive.)

Additionally, Jimin is now the first K-pop soloist to spend seven consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Artist 100, where he ranked No. 85 this week.

Outside of the Billboard 200, “FACE” stayed strong at No. 4 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, No. 17 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 20 on the Top Album Sales chart in its sixth week.

Meanwhile, Jimin’s title track “Like Crazy” ranked No. 13 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, No. 26 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 36 on the Global 200 this week.

Congratulations to Jimin!
