2023 MAMA Awards Responds To Reports Of Being Held At Tokyo Dome
The location for the upcoming 2023 MAMA Awards is under discussion!
On May 17, JTBC reported that according to industry representatives, the 2023 MAMA Awards will be held on November 28 and 29 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. If the 2023 MAMA Awards takes place at Tokyo Dome, it will be the first Korean award ceremony to take place there.
In response to the report, a source from CJ ENM stated, “We are reviewing various options for the schedule and location of the event from various directions.”
Last year, CJ ENM rebranded their annual music award ceremony, which had been called the “Mnet Asian Music Awards” (shortened to “MAMA”) since 2009, to “MAMA Awards.” The 2022 MAMA Awards took place at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome in Japan on November 29 and 30.
