Watch: "Fantasy Boys" Unveils Last Semifinal Performance + Announces Top 20 Trainees Advancing To Final Round

“Fantasy Boys” is quickly nearing its finale!

MBC’s “Fantasy Boys” is the male version of “My Teen Girl,” the audition program that gave rise to the rookie girl group CLASS:y last year. Hosted by TVXQ’s Changmin, the show features celebrity producers 2PM’s Wooyoung, B1A4‘s Jung Jinyoung, WINNER‘s Kang Seung Yoon, and (G)I-DLE‘s Jeon Soyeon.

Last week, “Fantasy Boys” began their semifinal round with the “Producer’s New Song mission” and featured the first three performances of the brand-new songs by the show’s celebrity producers.

On the June 1 broadcast, the final team performed Wooyoung’s song “Snacks” and the top 20 contestants moving on to the final round were announced live via Naver NOW and ABEMA.

Producer Wooyoung’s pick: Jin Myungjae

The overall team benefit went to Jeon Soyeon’s “SPACEMAN” group, with the team’s No. 1 contestant Lee Han Bin scoring the most benefits from this round.

Ahead of the show’s final round, host Changmin named top two contestants Hong Seongmin and Yu Junwon as team leaders. Once they chose their teams, they held an athletics competition where the winning team got first pick at their final mission track. Yu Junwon’s team came out on top 2:1 and chose to perform “GESTURE,” while Hong Seongmin’s team was given the song “SHUT UP.”
