"How Do You Play?" Announces Departure Of Jung Joon Ha, Shin Bong Sun, And PD Park Chang Hoon

MBC’s variety show “How Do You Play?” will take a break from broadcasting to reorganize the team.

On June 5, the production team of MBC’s “How Do You Play?” shared the following announcement:

Hello. This is the production team of “How Do You Play?”

Jung Joon Ha and Shin Bong Sun, who have been together [with us] for the past two years, will be leaving “How Do You Play?” after the June 10 broadcast.

We would like to thank Jung Joon Ha and Shin Bong Sun for conveying bright smiles [to viewers] with all their hearts.

Furthermore, “How Do You Play?” will take a break from broadcast for the third and fourth weeks of June to have time for reorganization for two weeks.

PD (Producing Director) Park Chang Hoon who has led the production team so far will step down, and Kim Jin Yong and Jang Woo Sung, who have been with “How Do You Play?” will take over as the main PDs.

On Saturday, July 1, we will come back as a stronger team.

Initially helmed by former “Infinite Challenge” PD Kim Tae Ho, “How Do You Play?” first premiered in July 2019 starring Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, and Lovelyz’s Mijoo as the program’s foundation. Last year in September, Lee Yi Kyung and Park Jin Joo joined the show as the newest cast members.

Earlier in May, members Jung Joon Ha, Shin Bong Sun, Lee Yi Kyung, and Park Jin Joo were reportedly in talks to step down from the show. Also, PD Park Chang Hoon was reported to be appointed as the CP (Chief Producer) and continue to steer the team while appointing young and new production staff members to the show.
