Red Velvet's Final Primavera Sound Madrid Appearance Cancelled As Festival Issues Weather Warning
Red Velvet will no longer be performing during the second weekend of Primavera Sound Madrid due to safety concerns.
On June 8, Primavera Sound Madrid announced that the festival’s events scheduled for Thursday, June 8 would be “cancelled for safety reasons in view of the adverse weather forecast.”
Red Velvet was the only K-pop group invited to Primavera Sound Madrid 2023 and performed on June 1 during the festival’s opening weekend. The group was set to perform again for the festival’s second weekend on June 8 alongside acts like Blur, Halsey, New Order, and more.
