Park Kang Hyun Gets A 2nd Chance With His College Crush Won Ji An After A Fateful Reunion In "Heartbeat"

KBS2’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Heartbeat” has teased Won Ji An and Park Kang Hyun’s fateful reunion!

“Heartbeat” (also known as “My Heart Is Beating”) tells the romance story of half-human and half-vampire Seon Woo Hyul (2PM’s Taecyeon), who was unable to become human due to a one day difference amidst 100 years, finding true warmth as he starts to live together with Joo In Hae (Won Ji An), a woman who has no humane side.

Joo In Hae, who boasts an unbelievably cold personality, works as a school nurse and owns a guesthouse. Park Kang Hyun portrays Shin Do Shik, a kind businessman who achieves great success through real estate. Although Shin Do Shik fell in love with Joo In Hae at first sight during their college days, he was unable to confess his feelings. Years later, he gets another opportunity when they coincidentally reunite.

The drama’s newest stills capture the intriguing bond between Joo In Hae and Shin Do Shik. The first photo is from the pair’s college days and looks straight out of a coming-of-age film. While hanging out on campus together, Joo In Hae carefully looks after a wound on Shin Do Shik’s hand, applying ointment and wrapping it with a bandage. Shin Do Shik watches silently, mesmerized by Joo In Hae and unable to look away from her.

Their opportune reunion is captured in the next stills and features a mysteriously similar yet different vibe from their school days. After meeting unexpectedly several years after college, Joo In Hae and Shin Do Shik look serious as they peer over a laptop together.

Their bond appears changed in the third still, which shows the pair taking a late-night stroll. As so much time has passed since they last saw each other, it’s evident that even their casual conversations have become much deeper and more mature.
