SEVENTEEN Is Only K-Pop Artist To Make Billboard's Midyear List Of Highest-Grossing Tours

Billboard’s midyear Boxscore charts for 2023 are out—and SEVENTEEN landed in the top 30 of more than one chart with their “BE THE SUN” world tour!

The midyear Boxscore charts are based on figures reported to Billboard for eligible concerts between November 1, 2022 and April 30, 2023. (Data for concerts that took place after April 30 were not reflected in these charts.)

SEVENTEEN was the only K-pop artist to make the Top Tours chart, which ranks the highest-grossing tours during the given time period. The group held a total of eight “BE THE SUN” shows in Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia in November and December of last year, grossing an impressive sum of $30,025,022—which placed them at No. 27 on the list of highest-grossing tours.

SEVENTEEN ranked even higher on the Top Ticket Sales chart, which is based on total attendance (as in the number of tickets sold, rather than the gross earned by a tour). The group took No. 19 on the midyear chart with a total of 316,859 tickets sold across their eight eligible shows.

Congratulations to SEVENTEEN!
