SHINee's Minho, Son Naeun, Ji Jin Hee, And Kim Ji Soo In Talks To Star In New Romance Drama
SHINee’s Minho, Son Naeun, Ji Jin Hee, and Kim Ji Soo may be starring in a new drama together!
On June 16, Xportsnews reported that SHINee’s Minho, Son Naeun, Ji Jin Hee, and Kim Ji Soo are in discussions to appear in the new drama “Melo House” (working title).
In response to the report, Minho’s agency SM Entertainment confirmed, “Minho has received an offer to star in ‘Melo House’ and is currently reviewing the offer.”
Son Naeun’s agency YG Entertainment also shared, “‘Melo House” is one of the projects she has received an offer for. She’s currently reviewing the offer.”
Similarly, Ji Jin Hee’s agency Ikkle Entertainment and Kim Ji Soo’s agency IOK Company each remarked that both are also reviewing the offers to star in the drama.
“Melo House” tells the story of people that feel their lives are incomplete gathering together as a family and dreaming of a complete love. The drama is penned by Kim Young Yoon of “My Secret Romance” and directed by Kim Da Ye of “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty.”
If confirmed, Minho will play the role of Nam Tae Pyong, a former member of the Taekwondo national team who is now a security guard at a local supermarket. Son Naeun will star as Byun Mi Rae, a dependable eldest daughter whose chaotic and extraordinary family always causes her trouble.
Ji Jin Hee will play Byun Moo Jin, someone who was divorced by his wife 14 years ago when his business collapsed, but now appears again in front of his wife and daughter Byun Mi Rae after he becomes a rich billionaire. Kim Ji Soo will star as Byun Moo Jin’s wife Geum Ae Yeon.
