“Boys Over Flowers” (Korea)

Lee Min Ho plays Gu Jun Pyo, an arrogant second-generation chaebol and the leader of the F4, the powerful group of boys at Shinhwa High School also including Yoon Ji Hoo (Kim Hyun Joong), So Yi Jung (Kim Bum), and Song Woo Bin (Kim Joon). Geum Jan Di (Ku Hye Sun) is a girl from a regular family who is accepted to Shinhwa High School with a scholarship by chance. Although Jan Di and Jun Pyo do not get along at first, they end up spending more time together and sharing experiences that are completely new to each other.

“Boys Over Flowers” (Japan)

Makino (Inoue Mao) is a student at the prestigious Eitoku Academy, and when her friend spills juice on Domyouji Tsukasa (Matsumoto Jun) and he snaps at her, Makino stands up to him. Domyouji Tsukasa is a member of the F4, the songs of the most powerful businesspeople in Japan, and they instruct the entire school to bully Makino in revenge. However, Domyouji Tsukasa unexpectedly falls for her, and so does fellow F4 member Hanazawa Rui (Oguri Shun). Makino and Domyouji Tsukasa’s love story continues in “Boys Over Flowers 2” and “Boys Over Flowers The Movie“!

“F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers” (Thailand)

The newest version of “Boys Over Flowers” is the Thai drama “F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers.” Gorya (Tontawan Tantivejakul) is an average high school student who gets accepted to a prestigious high school and meets the school’s notorious group of seniors known as the F4: Thyme (Vachirawit Chivaaree), Ren (Jirawat Sutivanichsak), Kavin (Metawin Opas-iamkajorn), and MJ (Hirunkit Changkham). The biggest bullies of the school, Gorya refuses to back down as she stands up to them and earns respect from Ren, Kavin, and MJ. However, it’s Thyme’s unwanted attention that makes Gorya’s life miserable.
