Sparks Fly Between 2PM's Taecyeon And Won Ji An In "Heartbeat"

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Heartbeat” has shared an exciting sneak peek of its upcoming second episode!

“Heartbeat” is a new fantasy romance drama starring 2PM’s Taecyeon as Seon Woo Hyul, who is half-human and half-vampire. Although he desperately wants to become human, he misses his chance because of one fateful day out of 100 years. He eventually winds up moving in together with Joo In Hae (Won Ji An), a cold-blooded woman who lacks humanity despite being fully human.

On the first episode of “Heartbeat,” Joo In Hae had a memorable first meeting with Seon Woo Hyul, whom she found sleeping in a coffin inside an old mansion she’d inherited from her father. When he realized that Joo In Hae had prevented him from fulfilling his wish of becoming human by waking him up a day early from his 100-year sleep, Seon Woo Hyul got angry and threatened to bite her—but to his shock, Joo In Hae bit him first.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, the tense conflict between the two leads continues. As Joo In Hae and Seon Woo Hyul angrily argue with each other, they both stare defiantly at one another with their hands on their hips, piquing curiosity as to what they could be fighting about.

However, in the blink of an eye, a tension of a different sort arises between the two. As Seon Woo Hyul leans in and tucks Joo In Hae’s hair behind her ear, the moment seems to take an unexpected romantic turn.

Meanwhile, another set of photos captures the upcoming reunion between Joo In Hae and Shin Do Shik (Park Kang Hyun), a young real estate developer who had a one-sided crush on Joo In Hae back in college.

Back in the first episode of the drama, Joo In Hae found out that her landlord was a fraud and that she was about to get kicked out of her home. In the upcoming episode, she attempts to stop her house from being demolished—but just as it seems her fight against the imminent demolition is doomed, she unexpectedly runs into her former college acquaintance Shin Do Shik.

After being surprised at seeing Joo In Hae again for the first time in years, Shin Do Shik crouches down to talk to her with a worried expression, suggesting that he still cares about her even after all this time.
