July Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from June 1 to July 1.

Yoo Jae Suk held onto his spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 2,642,948, marking a 12.82 percent rise in his score since June. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “You Quiz on the Block,” “DdeunDdeun,” and “Antenna,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “transform,” “talk,” and “invest.” The star’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 87.04 percent positive reactions.

Tak Jae Hoon similarly maintained his position at second place with a brand reputation index of 2,180,756, marking a 7.28 percent increase in his score since last month.

Kim Jong Kook also held steady at third place with a brand reputation index of 1,601,364 for July.

Kang Ho Dong came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 1,534,023, marking a 14.06 percent rise in his score since June.

Finally, Park Myung Soo rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 1,450,222, marking an 8.79 percent increase in his score since last month.
