'King The Land' Wraps Up 1st Half On Its Highest Ratings Yet

JTBC’s “King the Land” is heading into the second half of its run on a new all-time high!

On July 9, the hit romantic comedy starring 2PM’s Lee Junho and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA achieved its highest viewership ratings to date as it wrapped up the successful first half of its run. According to Nielsen Korea, the eighth episode of “King the Land” scored an average nationwide rating of 12.3 percent, marking a new personal record for the drama.

Meanwhile, TV Chosun’s new fantasy romance drama “Durian’s Affair” also soared to its highest ratings yet for its sixth episode, which earned a nationwide average of 5.1 percent.

tvN’s “See You in My 19th Life,” which airs in an overlapping time slot with “Durian’s Affair,” rose to an average nationwide rating of 4.5 percent for its latest episode.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” continued its reign as the most-watched program of any kind to air on Sunday with an average nationwide rating of 21.5 percent.
