Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2023, July Week 4
A new song has debuted at No. 1 this week!
“Super Shy,” one of the three title tracks from NewJeans’s second EP “Get Up,” debuts at No. 1. A Breakbeat-based song with Jersey Club rhythms, the song expresses the feelings of someone who is too shy to confess her love.
LE SSERAFIM’s “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife” moves down one spot from the top to No. 2.
Two more songs newly entered the top 10 this week.
Debuting at No. 3 is EXO’s “Cream Soda,” the title track from their seventh studio album “EXIST.” “Cream Soda” is a pop dance song with refreshing brass, keyboard, and drum sounds, and the lyrics compare the sweet and thrilling moment of falling in love to the taste of cream soda.
“Boys Planet” group ZEROBASEONE debuts at No. 8 with “In Bloom,” the title track of their debut mini album “YOUTH IN THE SHADE.” “In Bloom” pays homage to a-ha’s “Take On Me” and expresses the group’s determination to sprint toward “you” as they take their first meaningful step toward an inevitable end.
