OH MY GIRL’s Hyojung has tested positive for COVID-19.

On July 31, OH MY GIRL’s agency WM Entertainment released the following statement:

Hello.

This is WM Entertainment.

We inform you that OH MY GIRL’s Hyojung has tested positive for COVID-19.

After feeling mild cold symptoms, member Hyojung tested positive for COVID-19 through the rapid antigen test she preemptively took today (July 31).

In accordance with the guidelines of the government health authorities, Hyojung will stop all scheduled activities for five days and take necessary measures as well as rest. Besides Hyojung, the other members all tested negative, and they currently do not have any abnormal symptoms.

Therefore, the activities scheduled during the advised quarantine period will be attended by the members excluding Hyojung, and Hyojung will resume her activities after it is confirmed that she has made sufficient recovery.

The agency will consider the artist’s health and safety foremost, and we will do our best so that she can focus on treatment.
