BTS's Jungkook Becomes 1st Korean Soloist Since PSY To Spend 2 Weeks In Top 10 Of Billboard's Hot 100

BTS’s Jungkook’s official solo debut single is enjoying an impressive second week on the Billboard charts!

Last week, Jungkook made history when his new single “Seven” (featuring Latto) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, Global 200, and Global Excl. U.S. chart, making him the first Korean solo artist ever to debut a song at No. 1 on all three charts simultaneously.

To add to that achievement, Jungkook has now become the first Korean soloist ever to spend multiple weeks at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. chart: for the week ending on August 5, “Seven” remained No. 1 on both charts for the second week in a row.

Jungkook has also become the second Korean solo artist in history to spend more than one week in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100, following PSY (who achieved the feat over a decade ago). In its second consecutive week on the Hot 100—which ranks the most popular songs in the United States—”Seven” stayed strong at No. 9.

Congratulations to Jungkook on his exciting achievements!
