On September 6 at 6 p.m. KST, Hwasa dropped her new single “I Love My Body” along with a music video.
“I Love My Body” is a soul pop genre song that is a modern take on ’70s Motown soul music added with 808 bass sounds. The simple yet catchy chorus as well as the sophisticated beat are the charms of the song.

MAMAMOO’s Hwasa is gearing up for her return as a solo artist!
On August 15, Korean news outlet Sports Chosun reported that Hwasa will be releasing a new solo album in September. In response to the report, P NATION shared, “[It’s true that] Hwasa is scheduled to make a comeback with a new album in September but it is not finalized yet.”
This will mark Hwasa’s first comeback since parting ways with her longtime agency RBW and signing with PSY‘s label P NATION.
