Hwang Minhyun and Kim So Hyun Experience A Crack In Their Relationship In “My Lovely Liar”
tvN’s “My Lovely Liar” has released new stills ahead of tonight’s broadcast!
“My Lovely Liar” is a mystery romance about a woman who can hear lies and a genius music producer who is hiding his identity. Kim So Hyun stars as Mok Sol Hee, whose supernatural ability to detect lies has made her lose faith in other people, while Hwang Minhyun plays her reclusive next-door neighbor Kim Do Ha, who must hide his face from the world due to an unspeakable secret.
In the previous episode of “My Lovely Liar,” Mok Sol Hee and Kim Do Ha realized that they held a special place for each other. Mok Sol Hee was thankful that Kim Do Ha stayed by her side even when she revealed the truth about her ability to hear lies, and Kim Do Ha also decided to share his painful past as he gained faith in her. However, for some reason, his claim that he didn’t kill anyone turned out to be a lie, leaving Mok Sol Hee shocked and puzzled.
The newly released stills preview a shift in Mok Sol Hee and Kim Do Ha’s relationship following his second lie. Late at night, Kim Do Ha pays Mok Sol Hee another visit. His wounded emotions are reflected in his eyes as his expression reveals how nervous he is. On the other hand, as Mok Sol Hee examines Kim Do Ha’s injured hand, her complex emotions are also vividly shown on her face. The teary-eyed Mok Sol Hee and Kim Do Ha’s puzzled expressions raise curiosity about their conversation. Having grown up listening to countless lies, Mok Sol Hee has become indifferent to them, but Kim Do Ha’s lies affect her differently. How will their relationship change and how will this affect the trust they once had in each other?
The production team of “My Lovely Liar” commented, “Kim Do Ha’s second lie has caused Mok Sol Hee to be in a great dilemma. Please tune in to find out what awaits these two as they navigate an unexpected crisis.”
The next episode of “My Lovely Liar” will air on August 22 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
