"M Countdown" Confirms ZEROBASEONE's Sung Han Bin As New MC

It’s now official: ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin is the next MC of Mnet’s “M Countdown”!

On September 1, Sung Han Bin was officially confirmed to be joining the weekly music show as its new host.

In a statement released through his agency WAKEONE Entertainment, Sung Han Bin remarked, “Ever since I was young, I fostered my dream [of becoming a singer] while watching ‘M Countdown,’ so I’m honored and delighted to be greeting viewers as its MC. I think I’ll be able to learn and grow while meeting many senior singers and colleagues up close, so I’m looking forward to it. I will show you a wide variety of Sung Han Bin’s charms that I haven’t shown up until now, so I hope ZEROSE will look forward to it as well.”

Sung Han Bin’s first episode of “M Countdown” will air on September 7 at 6 p.m. KST.

It looks as though ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin is the newest MC of Mnet’s “M Countdown”!

Back in July, MONSTA X’s Joohoney stepped down from the weekly music show shortly before enlisting in the military. Since then, a roster of changing special MCs has been hosting the show, with NCT’s Johnny most recently stepping in as a one-day MC alongside host (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon on the latest episode.

However, on August 31, “M Countdown” dropped a “spoiler” clip revealing the identity of its next MC. Although his face was intentionally blurred in the video, fans immediately recognized the new “mystery host” as none other than ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin.
