EDAM Entertainment Reveals Plagiarism Accusations Against IU Have Been Dismissed

EDAM Entertainment has released the final results regarding the plagiarism case against IU.

On September 4, IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment released a statement revealing that the investigative agency decided to dismiss the criminal allegations against the artist on August 24 on the grounds that it did not constitue a crime.

EDAM Entertainment further reiterated that IU never participated in composing the five songs that were the subject of the allegation and that she did not participate in composing the part of the sixth song that the accuser took issue with.

Earlier in August, EDAM Entertainment shared progress on their legal action for malicious posts and false rumors about IU including those of plagiarism accusations and spy rumors.
