H1-KEY Goes From Less Than 7,000 To Over 70,000 1st-Week Sales After Going Viral

After the success of their viral hit “Rose Blossom,” H1-KEY’s album sales are skyrocketing!

Earlier this year, H1-KEY’s song “Rose Blossom” went viral after attracting attention for its poetic Korean title and its inspiring lyrics (which were written by DAY6’s Young K). The song went on to gradually climb up the Korean music charts, even reaching No. 1 on Bugs.

Last week, H1-KEY made their first comeback since releasing “Rose Blossom” in January, and it immediately became clear just how much the group has grown since then. According to Hanteo Chart, the group’s new mini album “Seoul Dreaming” sold an impressive total of 74,231 copies in the first week of its release (August 30 to September 5).

In contrast, H1-KEY’s previous mini album “Rose Blossom” sold only 6,920 copies in its own first week last year—meaning that the group’s first-week sales have increased more than tenfold since their last comeback.

H1-KEY also earned their very first music show win on September 5 for their new title track “SEOUL (Such a Beautiful City),” which took first place on “The Show.”

Congratulations to H1-KEY on their amazing growth!
