TWICE’s Jihyo Becomes 2nd Female K-Pop Soloist In History To Spend Multiple Weeks On Billboard 200 And Artist 100

TWICE’s Jihyo is enjoying a strong second week on the Billboard charts!

Last week, Jihyo made her solo debut on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart at No. 14, making her only the second female K-pop soloist in history to enter the top 100 (following her bandmate Nayeon).

To add to that achievement, Jihyo has now become the second female K-pop solo artist ever to chart for more than one week on either the Billboard 200 or Artist 100. (To date, only Nayeon and Jihyo have ever spent multiple weeks on either chart.)

For the week ending on September 9, Jihyo charted at No. 45 in her second week on Billboard’s Artist 100, while her solo debut mini album “ZONE” remained on the Billboard 200 at No. 89.

“ZONE” also stayed strong at No. 5 in its second week on Billboard’s World Albums chart, in addition to ranking No. 9 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 10 on the Top Album Sales chart.

Congratulations to Jihyo!
