Kim So Hye And WINNER’s Kim Jin Woo's Budding Romance Takes A Hit In “My Lovely Boxer”

KBS2’s “My Lovely Boxer” has teased an unexpected twist in the upcoming episode!

Based on the award-winning novel, “My Lovely Boxer” is a drama about a genius boxer named Lee Kwon Sook (Kim So Hye) and a cold-blooded sports agent named Kim Tae Young (Lee Sang Yeob), who doesn’t feel guilty about match fixing or resorting to any means necessary for the success of his athletes.

In the previous episode, Lee Kwon Sook confessed her feelings to Han Jae Min (WINNER’s Kim Jin Woo) and Han Jae Min responded with a kiss, officially marking the beginning of their romantic journey.

However, in the newly released stills, Lee Kwon Sook finds herself in a state of confusion after Han Jae Min asks her to visit the kindergarten where she used to work. Accompanied by Kim Tae Young and Coach Choi Hee Joong (Kim Hee Chan), at first, Lee Kwon Sook excitedly watches the children running around and playfully engages with them. Meanwhile, Kim Tae Young seems uncomfortable, as if he has been reluctantly dragged there, creating a noticeable contrast in their reactions.

In one amusing scene, Lee Kwon Sook jokingly throws a big punch at Kim Tae Young who is dressed as a tiger doll. Kim Tae Young’s genuine reaction as the doll’s head pops off promises to bring laughter to viewers.

In other stills, Lee Kwon Sook’s gaze toward Han Jae Min appears to carry a trace of pain, contrasting with Han Jae Min’s distant demeanor, which hints at a potential conflict between them. Amidst this icy atmosphere, Kim Tae Young’s intense glare at them further piques curiosity about what will unfold between them.

The production team teased, “In Episode 7, we begin to see cracks in the romance between Kwon Sook and Jae Min. Kwon Sook, who has been eagerly looking forward to retirement to start a relationship with Jae Min, receives shocking news that shakes her to the core. Stay tuned to see how Kwon Sook handles this unexpected crisis.”
