SHINee's Key Tops iTunes Charts All Over The World + Breaks 1st-Day Sales Record With "Good & Great"
SHINee’s Key’s comeback is off to a promising start!
On September 11 at 6 p.m. KST, Key made his solo comeback with the new mini album “Good & Great” and its title track of the same name. Immediately upon its release, the mini album shot to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries across the globe.
According to SM Entertainment, by 10 a.m. KST on September 1, “Good & Great” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 34 different regions, including Japan, Australia, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Denmark, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, South Africa, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Macau, Vietnam, Ukraine, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Lithuania, Bolivia, El Salvador, Panama, and Slovakia.
Meanwhile, according to Hanteo Chart, “Good & Great” sold an impressive total of 47,500 copies on its first day of sales alone—easily breaking Key’s previous first-week sales record of 29,604 (set by his previous album “Gasoline” last year).
