On October 12 at 6 p.m. KST, Wheein dropped her first full-length album “IN the mood” along with the music video of the title track of the same name.

“In The Mood” is a medium pop genre song with R&B vibes added to it. The song highlights Wheein’s talent as an artist and all-rounder.

Mark your calendars for MAMAMOO’s Wheein’s return!

On September 14, Wheein personally revealed her comeback date on the KBS Cool FM radio show “Volume Up,” which she has hosted for the past two weeks as a special DJ.

“I’m going to give a comeback spoiler,” said Wheein, before surprising listeners by announcing, “[It’ll be on] October 12.”

The following morning, Wheein’s agency THE L1VE confirmed that she was preparing to release her first-ever full-length solo album—and that she would be returning with a brand-new concept that she’s never tried before.

“As it’s her first full-length album, Wheein contributed a lot and was highly involved in [creating the album],” stated the agency. “Through its songs, which capture her broadened musical spectrum and experience, you’ll be able to fully appreciate Wheein’s charming voice and diverse array of emotions.”

THE L1VE continued, “We plan to delight the public’s eyes and ears with a new and different concept that Wheein has never tried before. She’s worked for a long time to prepare this album, so please give it lots of anticipation and love.”
