Recap: Viki's K-Drama Cafe Booth Lights Up KCON LA 2023 With Special Photo Ops, Freebies, Guests, And More

Rakuten Viki recently took part in KCON LA 2023, the world’s largest celebration of Korean entertainment and culture. The event drew over 140,000 attendees, with many visiting Rakuten Viki’s vibrant K-Drama Cafe booth!

Over the weekend, the Viki team handed out over 2,800 free boba teas to subscribers and over 20,000 free goodie items to convention goers.

From exclusive Rakuten Viki K-drama inspired goodies and Insta-worthy photo spots to exclusive boba drops, fun activations with influencers like Wong Fu Productions and Kevin Woo, and a very special visit by K-pop girl group NMIXX to the company’s booth, it was truly an event to remember!

Phil from Wong Fu Productions also took the stage to teach a K-pop dance, and one participant even won a giant plushie!
