Lee Joon Begs Yoon Jong Hoon For Mercy On His Knees In "The Escape Of The Seven"

SBS’s “The Escape of the Seven” has shared a suspenseful sneak peek of its next episode!

“The Escape of the Seven” is a new drama created by writer Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min, the team behind “The Last Empress” and the hit “The Penthouse” series. With a star-studded cast including Hwang Jung Eum, Uhm Ki Joon, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, and Jo Jae Yoon, “The Escape of the Seven” follows a tale of revenge against seven people involved in the disappearance of a missing girl.

On the previous episode of the drama, Yang Jin Mo (Yoon Jong Hoon) and Han Mo Ne (Lee Yoo Bi) teamed up and hatched an evil scheme to take down Bang Da Mi (Jung Ra El). Due to their cruel fake news, Bang Da Mi’s life fell apart in the blink of an eye—and the episode ended with an ominous shot of Bang Da Mi’s hat lying on the blood-stained ground, suggesting that further tragedy had befallen the poor student.

Meanwhile, Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon)—who had been betrayed by Yang Jin Mo—realized that he needed to figure out the identity of the powerful figure backing Yang Jin Mo in order to survive. After escaping from custody, Min Do Hyuk tracked down Yang Jin Mo and tortured him in a bathroom, but he soon had to go back on the run when he was interrupted by Yang Jin Ho’s henchmen.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming third episode, the tables have turned. While Min Do Hyuk seemed to have all the power when he was interrogating Yang Jin Mo in the bathroom stall, he is now at the other man’s mercy. Brought to his knees, Min Do Hyuk looks desperate as he worries for his mother (Lee Jong Nam) and younger brother (Im Sung Kyun), who have been taken hostage.

Meanwhile, Noh Paeng Hee (Han Bo Reum)—whom Min Do Hyuk sought out for help after escape—appears to have made a chilling transformation. In stark contrast to the warm demeanor she displayed when leading Min Do Hyuk to his family, she now stares down at him with a cold, unrecognizable expression.

The producers of “The Escape of the Seven” teased, “In this week’s episodes, a brand-new link between Min Do Hyuk and Bang Da Mi will be revealed. Please keep an eye on whether Min Do Hyuk, who is burning with a vengeful fury, will become a wild card or an unexpected variable in the ‘Pompom Girl’ incident.”

They added, “[This week’s episodes] will depict how a person’s life can be destroyed by irresponsible and groundless fake news, as well as how cruel people can be.”

The third episode of “The Escape of the Seven” will air on September 22 at 10 p.m. KST.
