Forestella's Ko Woo Rim Announces Military Enlistment Date With Heartfelt Letter To Fans

Forestella member Ko Woo Rim is gearing up to enlist in the military!

On September 26, Ko Woo Rim posted a heartfelt latter to fans via his official fan cafe announcing his military enlistment plans as below.

Hello, everyone. This is Woo Rim!
The weather has become much cooler, and it feels like fall has really arrived.
I hope you prepare well for the upcoming Chuseok (holiday known as the Korean equivalent of Thanksgiving) and have a happy time for the rest of September.

And everyone! I have some news to tell you.
As of November 20, 2023, I will receive basic military training and serve in the military band of the Ministry of National Defense.
Since my debut until now, I feel very sorry thinking that I’ve always been making fans worry, but I think the time has finally come to solve the homework that was staggering in my heart and yours!

Fortunately, I will be able to finish the Forestella Festival and the rest of the concerts and events before enlisting, so I am very thankful for this.

I think this news may sound either heavy or comforting to our SOOP BYEOL (Forestella’s official fan club name) and Woolim (Ko Woo Rim’s official fan club name).
But I hope you will take this news with happy and light hearts as I will return in good shape after completing my national defense duties.

Time flies, everyone! I will come back quickly and continue our activities as a group!

Our artist Forestella’s Ko Woo Rim will enlist in the army on November 20.

Ko Woo Rim recently passed the Military Manpower Administration’s Special Service, and he plans to faithfully perform his national defense duties as a member of the Army’s military band after finishing basic military training.

For everyone’s safety, the location and time of Ko Woo Rim’s enlistment will not be disclosed. We ask for the understanding and cooperation of many fans and media that there will be no separate official event.
