BTS's Jungkook Becomes 1st Korean Soloist To Debut Multiple Songs In Top 5 Of Billboard Hot 100

BTS’s Jungkook achieved more than one historic feat on the Billboard charts this week!

For the week ending on October 14, Jungkook’s new solo single “3D” (featuring Jack Harlow) debuted at No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States, and No. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart.

Jungkook has now become the first Korean soloist in history to debut multiple songs in the top 10 of the Hot 100—his previous single, “Seven” (featuring Latto), debuted at No. 1 on the chart in July.

“3D” also debuted at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. chart this week, making him the first Korean soloist ever to top either chart with more than one song. (“Seven” previously topped the Global 200 for a record-breaking seven weeks and the Global Excl. U.S. chart for nine consecutive weeks.)

Meanwhile, Jungkook re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 15, marking his ninth overall week on the chart.

Congratulations to Jungkook! (Check out his latest teasers for his upcoming solo album “GOLDEN” here.)
