9 Spooky K-Pop MVs To Get You In The Halloween Spirit

Halloween is coming up soon, a holiday full of frights, fun, and good times with friends! To get you in the Halloween spirit, here’s a list of some spooky K-pop music videos that have a horror theme or are otherwise in line with the Halloween theme. Bring on the ghosts, ghouls, witches, vampires, and zombies. It’s scaring time!

1. xikers – “TRICKY HOUSE”

Just like the name suggests, xikers’ debut music video evokes the feeling of a haunted house or a fairground after dark. It’s a bold choice of concept for a first MV, but the group really brought this idea to life with the choreo and performance. The human-sized stuffed animals also give it a very “Five Nights At Freddy’s” type of vibe – spooky!

2. Red Velvet – “RBB (Really Bad Boy)”

Red Velvet has released a couple of music videos that lean on the more mystical side, but “RBB” is undoubtedly the spookiest of the bunch. It’s set in a graveyard with a werewolf theme running throughout the video, and there are even references to famous horror movies like “The Shining.” It’s a Halloween K-pop classic!

3. Stray Kids – “VENOM”

Stray Kids’ music video for “VENOM” includes several different spooky scenes, from a mirror that doesn’t reflect what’s in front of it to a dinner party where not all is as it seems. The scariest part about it is definitely that spider though – the massive arachnid chasing the members around is enough to scare even the bravest of K-pop enthusiasts!

4. Dreamcatcher – “BEcause”

Elements of the supernatural have been a part of Dreamcatcher’s concept since the group’s debut, so there are plenty of spooky MVs to go around. “BEcause” feels almost like a creepy dollhouse at times or an abandoned fairground at others. There are tons of Halloween aesthetics to enjoy with this one, so take your time to catch all of the details.

5. ENHYPEN – “Bite Me”

Clearly a vampire-themed music video, “Bite Me” is a relatively recent release from ENHYPEN that rocked the K-pop world with its innovative choreography and unique melody lines. The MV is a must if you’re into vampires, and it’s the perfect Halloween track as well. Plus, the teasers for this comeback were like a mini horror movie!

6. TWICE – “Like OOH-AHH”

You might be thinking that “Like OOH-AHH” is way too cheerful of a song to make it onto a Halloween-themed list, but wait until you watch the music video! It’s jam-packed with zombies – and while they might not be the most frightening, you might recognize some familiar faces if you watch closely enough. Spooky or not, this song is a bop!

7. NCT 127 – “Favorite (Vampire)”

Another vampire-themed music video, this time from NCT 127! “Favorite” might not seem scary at first, but there’s definitely something in that whistle motif that feels a little spooky. The MV adds enough of the vampire elements without going too overboard, and the aesthetics also don’t scream “Halloween” in a cheesy way. It’s subtle, but definitely there!

8. (G)I-DLE – “Oh My God”

While there’s nothing overtly scary in this music video, something about “Oh My God” still seems creepy. The song itself would fit right in on a Halloween playlist, but there are some supernatural elements to the MV that almost make it feel like a coven of witches. There’s no denying that the visuals here are incredible!

9. TXT – “Can’t You See Me?”

Last but not least, TXT’s “Can’t You See Me?” almost feels like watching a psychological horror movie in a four-minute music video. The friendships, the betrayals, the drama – it’s totally enthralling to watch, and it includes some creepy scenes that are subtle but still spooky. It’s one that you can watch over and over and notice different details every time!
