Park Eun Bin Dishes On What Draws Her To “Castaway Diva

tvN has released dreamy new posters for its upcoming drama “Castaway Diva”!

“Castaway Diva” is a new romantic comedy starring Park Eun Bin as Seo Mok Ha, an aspiring singer who gets stranded on a deserted island while traveling to Seoul for an audition. The drama marks the reunion of director Oh Choong Hwan and writer Park Hye Ryun, who previously worked together on “While You Were Sleeping” and “Start-Up.”

In the newly released poster, Seo Mok Ha crafts her own stage as she strums a guitar against the lush backdrop of the island’s scenic beauty. The gentle sunshine filtering through the leaves bathes her stage in a warm, inviting glow.

Another poster captures Mok Ha’s radiant smile as she strolls along the glistening shore. Draped in a flowing white dress, her appearance exudes a dreamlike atmosphere. The accompanying slogan, “Until the day when I fill the world with my dream,” ignites curiosity about whether Mok Ha’s dream will come true.

Park Eun Bin shares insights into her decision to star in “Castaway Diva,” saying, “After reading the script, I was curious about the life Mok Ha will lead in the future.” Intrigued by the title “Castaway Diva,” she elaborated, “I wonder about the kind of future that lies ahead for her, considering she lived on a deserted island [before her rescue]. I aim to find the answers through Mok Ha and turn the seemingly impossible into reality alongside her.”

She continued, “The character of Mok Ha is notably defined by her singing and dialect, which I’m wholeheartedly doing my best to perfect. Since I’ve poured my heart [into this role] for Mok Ha, I hope that viewers will also resonate with her as if she’s their friend who hails from a deserted island.”

“Castaway Diva” is set to premiere on October 28 at 9:20 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser for the drama here!
