Watch: Main Vocalist Of Boy Group And Former Survival Show Contestant Wows With High Notes On

On the latest episode of “The King of Mask Singer,” the identity of “Wolf” was revealed!

During the November 5 broadcast of the MBC singing competition, four contestants continued their quest to challenge the reigning champion for the throne.

In the first battle of Round 2, Wolf blew the audience away with a soaring cover of Lee Seung Chul’s “Did You Forget.”

After hearing his performance, many of the celebrity panelists agreed that Wolf seemed like the main vocalist of an idol group, with SF9’s Inseong guessing that Wolf might be a vocalist from rookie boy group RIIZE.

Although the panelists praised Wolf for his beautiful vocal tone and versatility, it was ultimately his opponent that won the battle and moved on to the next round.

Wolf then remained on stage to take off his mask and reveal his identity—and he turned out to be ONEUS’s main vocalist Seoho, who competed on both Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” and JTBC’s “MIXNINE” before his debut in 2019.

As soon as Seoho took off his mask, Inseong regretfully exclaimed that he had actually thought of ONEUS while trying to figure out Wolf’s identity. “I wrote some groups down as candidates, and if you look at my notes here, I actually wrote ONEUS,” he said, revealing that he had come surprisingly close to guessing the correct answer.

Seoho also shared that because Kim Jong Seo was in the celebrity panel  that day, he had been extremely nervous while covering Kim Jong Seo’s song during Round 1 on last week’s episode.

However, Kim Jong Seo reassured him, “I also find it difficult to sing a song in front of its original singer. But you sang it as if it were an entirely different song, with your own unique interpretation. I really wanted to give you a lot of credit for that. That isn’t easy.”
