Kim Hee Sun, Lee Hye Young, And Kim Nam Hee Confirmed For New Drama
Kim Hee Sun, Lee Hye Young, and Kim Nam Hee will star in a new drama together!
On November 8, MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Our Home” (literal title) announced that Kim Hee Sun and Lee Hye Young will star in the drama as the female leads Noh Young Won and Hong Sa Gang, respectively.
“Our Home” is a black comedy that tells the story of the main character Noh Young Won, who is recognized as the best family psychologist in Korea. Noh Young Won’s career and family are put at risk by an unknown blackmailer, and she tries to protect her family by collaborating with her mother-in-law and mystery novel writer Hong Sa Gang. Nam Ji Yeon of “So I Married the Anti-Fan” will write the screenplay, and producing director Lee Dong Hyun who helmed “Doctor Lawyer” and “She Knows Everything” will be in charge of production.
Kim Hee Sun takes on the role of Noh Young Won, Korea’s best family counselor who is loved by the general public. Noh Young Won is a character who lives a perfect life while juggling between work and family, but when an incident shakes everything up, she begins to cooperate with her mother-in-law Hong Sa Gang to protect her family.
Lee Hye Young plays Hong Sa Gang, a famous mystery novelist and a devoted mother to her only son Jae Jin. As Hong Sa Gang gets entangled with an incident that is out of her control, she begins to cooperate with her daughter-in-law Young Won, whom she was never happy with, risking all her life.
On top of this, Kim Nam Hee’s agency New Way Company revealed that the actor will also star in the drama as Noh Young Won’s husband and Hong Sa Gang’s only son Jae Jin, raising anticipation for the drama.
