Choo Young Woo Joins Lim Ji Yeon In Talks For New Historical Drama
Choo Young Woo might be starring in a new historical drama that Lim Ji Yeon is also in talks for!
On November 9, Sports DongA reported that Choo Young Woo received an offer to star in JTBC’s new drama “Tale of Mrs. Ok” (literal title) and is negotiating the details.
In response to the report, Choo Young Woo’s agency J,Wide-Company shared, “The actor is currently reviewing the offer [to star in ‘Tale of Mrs. Ok’].”
“Tale of Mrs. Ok” is a drama that tells the fierce survival and success stories of a female slave in the Joseon Dynasty who fakes her name, status, and even her husband. Lim Ji Yeon is reportedly offered the role of slave Goo Deok, a character who abandons her name and fakes everything to live a new life as a mistress.
Choo Young Woo is reportedly offered to play the role of Song Seo In, the son of the prestigious Song family. Song Seo In is a romantic and reckless character when it comes to love, and he changes as he gets entangled with Goo Deok through various events.
Having debuted in 2021 through the web drama “You Make Me Dance,” Choo Young Woo emerged as a rising star on the small screen by starring in various dramas including “School 2021,” “Once Upon a Small Town,” and “Oasis.”
