Rowoon And Cho Yi Hyun Keep Their Eyes Glued To One Another In "The Matchmakers"

KBS2’s “The Matchmakers” has shared a glimpse of its upcoming episode!

“The Matchmakers” tells the story of the meeting between the young widower Shim Jung Woo (Rowoon) and young widow Jung Soon Deok (Cho Yi Hyun) as well as the struggle the two go through together to marry off Joseon era’s unmarried women and men who are considered older than the typical prime age range.

The upcoming fifth episode of “The Matchmakers” will depict Shim Jung Woo and Jung Soon Deok looking for single men, who can be perfect matches for the three daughters of Dr. Maeng, at Seonhwa Temple’s “Walking around Pagoda” in which people circle the pagoda all night on Buddha’s Birthday.

The still images below capture Shim Jung Woo and Jung Soon Deok making deep eye contact among the many young men and women circling the tower.

The production team remarked, “This is a scene that beautifully captures the delicate emotional changes of the characters against the colorful backdrop. We hope that the sprouting emotions aroused by the two, who have been bickering with each other all the time, will warm up the cold that rushed in suddenly.”
