3 Points To Anticipate In Upcoming Episodes Of “The Matchmakers”
KBS2’s “The Matchmakers” has shared points to look forward to ahead of episodes 5 and 6!
“The Matchmakers” tells the story of the meeting between the young widower Shim Jung Woo (Rowoon) and young widow Jung Soon Deok (Cho Yi Hyun) as well as the struggle the two go through together to marry off Joseon era’s unmarried women and men who are considered older than the typical prime age range.
Here are some important points to anticipate in the upcoming episodes:
1. Did Shim Jung Woo really recognize Jung Soon Deok?
At the end of episode 4, Shim Jung Woo saw Jung Soon Deok without makeup and asked, “How could I not recognize you?” creating a heart-fluttering ending. Since even her older brother Jung Soon Goo (Heo Nam Joon) was unable to identify the difference between her usual self and her transformed self with makeup as Mrs. Yeo Joo, she believed that Shim Jung Woo would also be unable to recognize her. However, when Shim Jung Woo saw Jung Soon Deok at Seonhwa Temple, he asked, “What is this outfit?” hinting that he had recognized her.
2. Will the Maeng sisters find love?
In the upcoming episodes, the Maeng sisters will practice the technique of making eye contact that they learned from Jung Soon Deok. Previously, the three sisters Maeng Ha Na (Jung Shin Hye), Maeng Doo Ri (Park Ji Won), and Maeng Sam Soon (Jung Bo Min) showcased different charms with the special technique, raising anticipation for how they will use this in actual practice at Seonhwa Temple’s “Walking around Pagoda” event.
3. What will happen of the plan to take down the Crown Prince?
Previously, it was revealed that Park So Hyun (Park Ji Young), also known as Mrs. Park, used a type of poison that leaves no evidence to drive Crown Prince Lee Jae (Hong Dong Young) out of the palace. Shim Jung Woo also suspected the same poison to be the cause of Princess Hyo Jung’s (Park Chae Young’s) death, raising tension. Viewers are curious to find out if Shim Jung Woo, who is researching the special type of poison, will be able to recognize the truth of the case.
The next episode of “The Matchmakers” will air on November 13 at 9:45 p.m. KST.
