Park Bo Young In Talks + Choi Woo Shik Reported For New Rom-Com By "Our Beloved Summer" Writer
Park Bo Young and Choi Woo Shik may star in a new drama together!
On November 17, STARNEWS reported that Park Bo Young has been cast in the upcoming drama “Romantic Movie” (literal title).
In response to the report, Park Bo Young’s agency BH Entertainment shared, “Park Bo Young has received an offer for the new drama ‘Romantic Movie’ and is positively reviewing it.”
Back in October, STARNEWS also reported Choi Woo Shik was in talks to take on the male lead role. However, Choi Woo Shik’s agency has yet to comment on the report.
“Romantic Movie” delves into the lives of young individuals who are used to always pretending to be fine in the face of hardships. Now, they aspire to experience love and fulfill their dreams, yet find themselves drained and exhausted from the relentless hardships they endure. Despite its initial impression of having a somber undertone, the drama is a comical romance written by Lee Na Eun, the scriptwriter of “Our Beloved Summer.”
Park Bo Young is reportedly considering the role of Kim Moo Bi (also characterized as “Movie” in Korean), who starts as an assistant director and eventually becomes a film director. Following in the footsteps of her father, who worked as a film staff member but harbored dreams of becoming a director, Kim Moo Bi silently hones her skills in the film industry.
Choi Woo Shik has reportedly been offered the male lead role of Go Gyeom, a former extra actor turned film critic. Dreaming of watching every movie in the world, Go Gyeom’s path crosses with Kim Moo Bi on a film set, leading to an intertwined destiny as they embark on a fateful love story.
