Stray Kids Becomes Fastest Artist Since Taylor Swift To Rack Up 4 No. 1 Albums On Billboard 200

Stray Kids has just scored their fourth No. 1 entry on the Billboard 200 in less than two years!

On November 19 local time, Billboard announced that Stray Kids’ new mini album “ROCK-STAR” had debuted at No. 1 on its Top 200 Albums chart, making it their fourth consecutive album to top the chart following “ODDINARY,” “MAXIDENT,” and “★★★★★ (5-STAR).”

Notably, Stray Kids is the first artist in 16 years to have all four of their first chart entries debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—and the first K-pop artist to achieve the feat. The last artist to see their first four entries debut at No. 1 was Alicia Keys, who pulled off the feat between 2001 and 2007.

Additionally, it took Stray Kids less than 20 months to rack up four No. 1 albums, making them the fastest artist to accumulate four No. 1s since Taylor Swift (who took just under 16 months to achieve the feat between August 2020 and November 2021).

According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “ROCK-STAR” earned a total of 224,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on November 16. The album’s total score consisted of 213,000 traditional album sales—of which 98 percent were CD sales and 2 percent were digital downloads—and 11,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 15.68 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.

Congratulations to Stray Kids on their historic achievement!
