5 Tense And Emotional Moments From Episodes 5-6 Of

And it’s back! Though the airing schedule for “A Good Day to Be a Dog” has been a little awkward, this week we can finally enjoy not one, but two new episodes. If episode 4 was all about the sweet yet clumsy Jin Seo Won (Cha Eun Woo) and the hilariously chaotic Han Hae Na (Park Gyu Young) and their efforts to overcome his fear of dogs and breaking her curse, the new episodes took us on a ride in a rollercoaster of emotions, going from the most nerve-wracking situations to movie-like romantic scenes. To sum things up, here are five tense and very emotional moments from episodes 5 and 6.

Warning: spoilers for episodes 5-6 below.

1. Jin Seo Won and Han Hae Na facing high school bullies

Something that is always difficult to watch is high school violence, and that is exactly what Seo Won and Hae Na have to face during episode 5 when one of their students is being bullied. However, as their school is known to be free of violence, things don’t resolve as quickly as they would expect. At that point, it is obvious to Seo Won that some things don’t change that easily and that he needs to push harder in order to help the student who trusted him.

As nerve-wracking as this is, it is also pretty funny to watch Hae Na as well as her sister and childhood friend team up to find the evidence that would expose the truth about the bullies. They take advantage of their secret weapon: Han Hae Na as a cute dog that can pass inadvertently. Luckily, they can get the bullies exposed and even prevent them from trying to frame Seo Won as a harassing teacher.

2. Jin Seo Won opening up about his past to Han Hae Na

One of the most emotional moments from episode 5 is probably when Jin Seo Won finally opens up his heart to Han Hae Na and tells her about his past in high school. Since he himself was a victim of bullying, the whole situation with their students affects him greatly and makes him remember the struggles and disappointment he felt when nobody helped him in the past.

Though it is hard seeing him recalling his past, it also shows how much he trusts and cares about Hae Na since he lets his feelings run in front of her. On the other hand, it is clear she cares about him despite the curse as she tries her best to help him and give him the comfort he needs, proving she is a strong shoulder that he can cry on. This whole combo of emotions just makes you wonder once again when they will start dating for real as their feelings for each other are perfectly clear at this point.

3. A new student that has a connection with Lee Bo Kyum

Another thing that is very clear now is that Lee Bo Kyum (Lee Hyun Woo) is not your average history teacher. From his rather skeptical and sometimes suspicious conversations to all the visions from the past, he appears to be an important piece in the puzzle that involves the curse of Hae Na’s family and her connection to Jin Seo Won. What is still unclear is whether he is there to help them reunite and break the curse or prevent them from getting together again.

Things get more complicated as a mysterious new student, who is known for her shamanic abilities, arrives at the school. Though at first sight she seems like an unimportant character, her connection with Lee Bo Kyum’s past might bring a little more insight into what really happened and if this is related with our main couple as well.

4. Han Hae Na turning into a dog during the school trip

If there is something that most teachers find stressful, it must be having to look after rebellious teenagers. It’s even worse when you have to go on a school trip and inevitably turn into a dog at midnight, which is Hae Na’s case. Things get complicated for her when some students decide to flee, and Hae Na has to go looking for them alongside Seo Won. As if things couldn’t go any more wrong, once Hae Na turns into her puppy form, she is taken away by an old lady who gives us some thriller-like moments, manipulating some knives way too close to her.

Thankfully, the always helpful Choi Yul (Yoon Hyun Soo) is there to help Hae Na, who tries his best to rescue her. However, as dawn arrives, it is ultimately Jin Seo Won who finds her and shows once again how he is total boyfriend material, lending her his coat and carrying her on his back. As they return to their lodging, Hae Na takes the courage to confess to Seo Won that she no longer has feelings for Lee Bo Kyum.

5. Han Hae Na and Jin Seo Won’s mini date night

After many eventful moments, our lovely couple seems to be able to relax and have what anyone could call an improvised first date. Even if they haven’t confessed their feelings properly, the chemistry between them is undeniable. It leaves viewers to wonder how it will be when they start to date for real and if that would help Hae Na to break her curse because, let’s not forget, she must break it before she turns into a dog for good.
