Park Seo Joon And Han So Hee Infiltrate A Dangerous Place To Unearth Secrets In "Gyeongseong Creature"

Netflix had unveiled more stills of the highly-anticipated drama “Gyeongseong Creature” before its premiere!

Set in the dark times of Spring 1945, “Gyeongseong Creature” will tell the story of an entrepreneur and a sleuth who must fight for survival and face a monster born out of human greed.

Park Seo Joon plays Jang Tae Sang, the most wealthy man in Gyeongseong and the owner of the pawnshop Golden Jade House who has naturally keen insight and knows how to get by in the world with access to all the information he needs. While searching for Ishikawa’s beloved mistress who has gone missing, he becomes intertwined with Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee) and her father Yoon Joong Won (Jo Han Chul).

Han So Hee plays Yoon Chae Ok, who searches for missing people and is even rumored to be able to find those who have died. While searching for clues on her missing mother, she journeys to Gyeongseong and makes a deal with Jang Tae Sang.

Tae Sang, Chae Ok, and Joong Won infiltrate Ongseong Hospital, which is suspected as the last whereabouts of those who disappeared, and they come to face secrets at the mysterious place tainted by the greed of those who are more monstrous than monsters and struggle to survive.

Director Jung Dong Yoon shared, “Our setting of Spring 1945 creates the question of which side each character should take.”

Writer Kang Eun Kyung shared, “Like [the question], ‘Is survival first or is being humane first?’ the difference between good and evil also changes depending on which side they choose to stand.”

Regarding the thrilling script, Park Seo Joon shared, “It’s the perfect script,” while Han So Hee remarked, “It’s a script that makes [viewers] curious about the start of the story,” raising anticipation for the upcoming drama.
