Jang Nara And Lee Ki Taek Are Co-Workers With A Mysterious Bond In "My Happy Ending"

TV Chosun’s upcoming drama “My Happy Ending” has unveiled new stills of Jang Nara and Lee Ki Taek!

“My Happy Ending” tells the story of a woman named Seo Jae Won (Jang Nara), who is obsessed with and chases after success following her unfortunate childhood, trying to escape from her unhealthy desires and obsessions.

Jang Nara stars as Seo Jae Won, a self-made CEO of the home furniture brand Drev and an influencer with over a million followers. Lee Ki Taek plays Yoon Tae Oh, the head of Drev’s design team who also goes by his English name of Theo Harris.

The newly released stills depict Seo Jae Won and Yoon Tae Oh working together to make a canvas at a studio. Yoon Tae Oh hands Seo Jae Won an apron for work, and the two put on the aprons to get to work, showcasing teamwork while laying out the canvas cloth and making a frame.

Although Seo Jae Won works with a calm and serious expression, Yoon Tae Oh wears a mysterious smile that is difficult to read as he focuses his attention on Seo Jae Won, raising questions about the strange tension between the two.

Jang Nara remarked, “Actor Lee Ki Taek is like a field of white snow. I felt that he worked hard to gradually add his charms to Yoon Tae Oh.” Lee Ki Taek shared, “Jang Nara, who is a seasoned [actress] and has great acting experience, shared lots of good words by adding her personal experience. I worked hard to learn a lot while watching her by her side.”

The production team shared, “Jang Nara and Lee Ki Taek are dutiful actors who did not spare their efforts in dramatizing the important aspect of ‘My Happy Ending’ being a psychological thriller,” asking viewers to anticipate Jang Nara and Lee Ki Taek’s dual-natured charms.

“My Happy Ending” is set to premiere on December 30 and will be available on Viki.
