EXO Takes 1st Win For "First Snow" On "Music Bank"

EXO has won their first music show trophy for “First Snow,” 10 years after the song’s release!

KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” did not air a new episode on December 29, but the music show still announced this week’s winner on its official website.

EXO won their very first music show trophy for “First Snow,” which racked up a total of 4,543 points on the Music Bank K-Chart from December 18 to 24.

“First Snow,” which was originally released as a B-side on their 2013 winter mini album “Miracles in December,” consistently re-enters Korean music charts each year around the first snow—and this year, it has also gone viral due to the popular new dance challenge set to a sped-up version of the track. Earlier on December 19, the song reached No. 1 on Melon’s Top 100 chart for the first time.

Red Velvet’s “Chill Kill” took second place this week with a total score of 3,313, while Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “To. X” came in third with a score of 2,478.
