4 Times Cha Eun Woo Struggled To Get Close To Park Gyu Young In Episode 12 Of

Memories can be dangerous, and in episode 12 of “A Good Day to Be a Dog,” that’s exactly what was proved to us. The previous episode left many believing that it will be Han Hae Na (Park Gyu Young) who would have to try her best again to get close to Jin Seo Won (Cha Eun Woo) and win his heart after losing his memories. But, surprisingly, Lee Bo Kyum (Lee Hyun Woo) had other plans in mind. Check out these moments where Seo Won struggled the most in order to win Hae Na’s heart once again.

1. Inviting Han Hae Na to have a meal with him

Episode 12 starts right away with the shattering realization from Jin Seo Won that the person who lost their memories isn’t him but Han Hae Na. As he sees the total indifference in her eyes, his heart breaks a little while remembering all the sweet moments they shared and how much in love they were. And although it was Hae Na who assured him she would quickly fall in love with him if that were the case, it seems clear that Seo Won doesn’t have it easy.

This moment makes it clear that either Hae Na really tried her best to get close to Seo Won during those first episodes, or he was rather easy to woo because none of the tricks she used to approach him in the beginning seem to work on herself. It is very sweet but also painful seeing Seo Won trying to imitate the ways that Hae Na once used, such as inviting him to have a meal together, share a little dessert, or even cleaning her desk. Instead, all of this only drives Hae Na a little further away, right into Lee Bo Kyum’s arms.

2. Confessing his feelings to Han Hae Na

Right before Hae Na loses her memories, Seo Won promises that he would fight for her without second guessing and would bravely approach her first. And though he didn’t know then that he would have to keep this promise, he does so. He takes Hae Na to the yard, where they once agreed to become friends and so very often talked together, to confess that he likes her. However, she rejects him on the spot.

But this leaves Hae Na with a certain feeling inside her, though she can’t pinpoint exactly what it is, since she still believes the person she likes is Lee Bo Kyum. Lee Bo Kyum, on the other hand, doesn’t miss any chances he has to get on Seo Won’s nerves, which leads to them getting into a fight. And Hae Na intervenes in favor of Bo Kyum. Heartbroken, Seo Won imagines Hae Na coming to find him and asking him not to give up on her, which causes quite literally a wound in both Seo Won’s hand and in the viewer’s heart.

3. Following Han Hae Na and Lee Bo Kyum on their date

It is quite a relief that there is no second lead syndrome in this drama because when Lee Bo Kyum decides that he wants to torment Seo Won by dating Hae Na, every moment they spend together is really hard to watch. It’s clear that he is only faking the cute smiles and good attention he is giving toward her in order to continue with his revenge against them.

Despite Seo Won knowing about Bo Kyum’s real intentions, he can’t help but feel jealous and lonely seeing them together as he knows as well that the real person Hae Na loves is him. During Bo Kyum and Hae Na’s movie date, Seo Won can’t help but shed some tears thinking about how hard it is to have the person he loves be so close to him yet at the same time be so far away. And this is exactly what he tells Hae Na, who seems really puzzled about her feelings and that hunch that something isn’t quite right.

4. Kissing Han Hae Na unexpectedly in his house

Just like in the beginning, Choi Yul (Yoon Hyun Soo) supports and helps his beloved uncle. He knows Seo Won is struggling on his own thanks to Min Ji Ah (Kim Yi Kyung), who keeps all of her memories intact despite everyone else forgetting about what happened with Hae Na and Seo Won. So Choi Yul asks Hae Na to come quickly to his house, cutting short her date with Bo Kyum, who is aware of the high schooler’s trip to his mountain. And she meets with Seo Won, realizing whose uncle he is.

As Hae Na sees the house, she suddenly asks if that was the first time that she was there. This inevitably ignites a spark of hope in Seo Won, who thinks it is possible to bring her memories back. When Hae Na admits that she is confused about her feelings, he takes that moment to kiss her. And although there was hope that the kiss would be the moment where she would regain her memories, she just flees from the house, leaving Seo Won and us hanging until the next episode. It’s time to start getting ready for the last two episodes of this drama, which hopefully will bring our beloved couple back together!
