Lee Sun Gyun's Agency Warns Legal Action Against Malicious Rumors And Reports

On January 3, late actor Lee Sun Kyun’s agency announced their intention to take legal action against the spread of false information.

Hello. This is HODU&U Entertainment.

Recently, our agency recognized the fact that rumors and false information about our agency’s actors are being circulated.

We began collecting relevant data and decided to take legal action at the same time. In the future, we will take firm action against all situations where false information is spread.

In addition, we express our deepest regret over the malicious and indiscreet reports regarding the late actor Lee Sun Gyun by some media outlets over the past three months.

We hoped that the truth would be revealed through a fair police investigation until the end, but since we can no longer do so, we would like to correct the facts one by one by ourselves.

Consequently, on January 2, HODU&U Entertainment sued the reporter who reported false information as if it were fact on the night of December 27, 2023. We ask the reporter for a sincere apology and that they diligently participate in the legal proceedings that will follow.

We would like to ask you one more favor. As the investigation is ongoing and has not yet been completed, we were inevitably unable to respond to all interviews. In the midst of this, we request that all articles as well as all posts that were published online without going through fact-checks or that come from unclear sources be corrected or deleted, so we once again ask you to take quick action.

HODU&U Entertainment will continue to do our best to ensure that our agency’s actors can work in a stable environment. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
