Kim Hye Yoon Is Byun Woo Seok's Devoted Fan Who Time Travels To Save Him In Upcoming Drama
tvN’s upcoming drama “Carry Sun Jae and Run” (literal translation) has shared the first glimpse of Byun Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon in character!
Based on the popular web novel “The Best of Tomorrow,” “Carry Sun Jae and Run” is a new time-slip romance drama that unfolds as Im Sol, a passionate fan devastated by the death of her favorite star Ryu Sunjae, goes back in time to save him. The drama will be penned by Lee Si Eun, the writer of “True Beauty” and “Top Star U-Back.”
Byun Woo Seok takes on the role of Ryu Sun Jae, a renowned South Korean top star known for his impeccable looks, skills, and charisma. Despite his uninterrupted reign at the top since his debut, Ryu Sun Jae grows weary of the entertainment industry and eventually meets a tragic end. When Im Sol is transported back to Ryu Sun Jae’s vibrant youth at the age of 19, his peaceful life begins to change.
Kim Hye Yoon will portray Im Sol, an ardent fan who travels back to the past to save her beloved bias Ryu Sun Jae. Im Sol, who gave up her dreams due to a childhood accident, becomes a fan of Ryu Sunjae after finding solace in his music when she happens to hear it on the radio. Following the tragic end of Ryu Sun Jae’s life, Im Sol mysteriously travels back 15 years in time. Now faced with the high school version of Ryu Sun Jae, Im Sol struggles to prevent his tragic fate.
In addition to Byun Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon, N.Flying‘s Lee Seung Hyub and OMEGA X’s Hyuk have also been confirmed to join the cast of the drama. Lee Seung Hyub takes on the role of Baek In Hyuk, the leader and guitarist of the band Eclipse, while Hyuk portrays Jay, the youngest member of the group.
