Stray Kids, Jungkook, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, aespa, And ZEROBASEONE Earn Circle Million Certifications; Red Velvet And More Go Platinum

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!

In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification.

Stray Kids received an official triple million certification for their latest mini album “ROCK-STAR,” which has sold over 3 million copies since its release in November 2023.

Meanwhile, BTS’s Jungkook earned two separate Circle certifications for his solo debut album “GOLDEN.” Not only did he receive a double million certification for the regular version of the album (for over 2 million copies sold), but the Weverse version of the album was also certified platinum (for selling over 250,000 copies).

ATEEZ similarly earned two separate Circle certifications for their new album “THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL”—a million certification for the regular version of the album (for over 1 million copies sold) and a platinum certification for the MINIRECORD version (for over 250,000 copies sold).

Just like ATEEZ, ENHYPEN also earned two separate certifications for their latest mini album “ORANGE BLOOD.” The regular version of the album received an official million certification, while the Weverse version of the album was certified platinum.

Both aespa’s “Drama” and ZEROBASEONE’s “MELTING POINT” also earned official million certifications for selling over 1 million copies each.

Red Velvet’s “Chill Kill” and Hwang Young Woong’s “Fall and yearning” were both certified double platinum for selling over 500,000 copies each.

THE BOYZ’s “PHANTASY: Pt. 2 Sixth Sense” and WayV’s “On My Youth” were also certified platinum for selling over 250,000 copies each.

Over in the streaming category, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s 2019 solo single “Four Seasons” was certified double platinum after surpassing 200 million streams.

Finally, NewJeans’ “OMG” and LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” were both certified platinum after reaching 100 million streams each.
