Han So Hee Talks About Her Recent Drama "Gyeongseong Creature"

Elle Korea has released a new pictorial of “Gyeongseong Creature” star Han So Hee!

Set in the dark times of spring 1945, “Gyeongseong Creature” tells the story of an entrepreneur and a sleuth who must fight for survival and face a monster born out of human greed.

In an interview that followed her photo shoot for Elle, Han So Hee was asked about her experience filming “Gyeongseong Creature.” She remarked, “It’s my first drama in two years, and it’s a period drama, so I thought I had to project the situation of that era to some extent. I was so focused during filming that I couldn’t afford to pay attention to my surroundings.”

Describing her similarities to her “Gyeongseong Creature” character Chae Ok, Han So Hee revealed, “We’re similar in the way that when we both decide to do something, we must see it through to the end in order to feel at ease.” She added, “I don’t think Chae Ok spent 10 long years searching for her mother solely because she missed her. It was because she needed to meet her in person to confirm things for herself.”

“Gyeongseong Creature” is also Han So Hee’s first action drama since “My Name.”

When asked what she enjoys about acting in action dramas, the actress replied, “I enjoy the physical engagement in action dramas. No matter how much you rehearse in advance and how much safety equipment you have, you never know what variables may arise on the set. The thrill of throwing punches, trusting each other, and the immense satisfaction when everything works out as planned based on the mutual trust is incredible.”

Han So Hee, who is well-known for sharing her honest feelings with her fans on social media, went on to reveal, “I’ve learned that it’s important to acknowledge when things aren’t okay. After coming to that realization, I feel like I’ve gained the strength to move forward with a lighter heart. This year, I hope to keep the promise of taking care of myself.”
