Kim Go Eun, Park Ji Hyun, And Kim Gun Woo Confirmed For New Drama By "Do You Like Brahms?" Director

Get ready for Netflix’s new drama “Two Women” (working title)!

On January 18, “Two Women” confirmed its cast lineup consisting of Kim Go Eun, Park Ji Hyun, and Kim Gun Woo.

Helmed by “Do You Like Brahms?” and “The Interest of Love” director, “Two Women” will tell the story of Eun Joong and Sang Yeon—two friends who are deeply intertwined in life as people who respect and love each other the most but also harbor jealousy and spite toward.

Kim Go Eun of hit dramas including “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” “Yumi’s Cells,” “Little Women,” and more will be playing the role of Ryu Eun Joong, who appears ordinary but has the special charm of pulling people in with her honesty.

Park Ji Hyun, who impressed in “Do You Like Brahms?” “Reborn Rich,” and more, will be playing the role of Eun Joong’s closest friend and rival Cheon Sang Yeon.

During their elementary school days, Eun Joong met Sang Yeon, who grew up in a rich environment and was born with great talent. Although Eun Joong feels both respect and jealousy for Sang Yeon, the two become close friends.

As Eun Joong and Sang Yeon enter their 20s and 30s, they experience many reunions and partings, and finally, as they turn 42 years old, they are reunited once more. Eun Joong, who becomes a drama scriptwriter, reunites with the successful film director Sang Yeon, who asks her for her companionship in her death with dignity due to having terminal cancer. The drama will resonate with viewers as it reflects back on the lives of Eun Joong and Sang Yeon from their school days to their time as adults, showcasing how the two were the greatest influence in each other’s lives.

Furthermore, “The Glory” star Kim Gun Woo will be playing Eun Joong and Sang Yeon’s popular college senior Kim Sang Hak from their photography club.
